The Margadarshan College of Pharmacy was established in the year 2019 under the auspices of Margadarshan Education Trust with the two-year Diploma Programme in Pharmacy (D. Pharm.) Approved by Government of Karnataka and Board of Examination Authority, Bangalore. The four-year Bachelor's programme in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore in 2021. The Margadarshan College of Pharmacy is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
The Institute pursues the philosophy of perpetual acquisition of knowledge. Apart from academic curriculum, our policy has been to provide value based education and to expose the hidden potential in the students. Our students have free access to the computer facilities and are provided with LCD projector in the class room for their seminar presentation. A perfect learning atmosphere coupled with an excellent college ambiance will make your quest for education and knowledge that is much more stimulating, holistic and fulfilling. It is an intense commitment and assurance from Margadarshan Education Trust that we are totally devoted to quality education.

India is the future Pharmacy of the world and the future Pharmacy market of the globe. India is the largest provider of generic drugs globally. Indian pharmaceutical sector supplies over 50% of global demand for various vaccines, 40% of generic demand in the US and 25% of all medicine in the UK. Globally, India ranks 3rd in terms of pharmaceutical production by volume and 14th by value. The domestic pharmaceutical industry includes a network of 3,000 drug companies and ~10,500 manufacturing units.
India enjoys an important position in the global pharmaceuticals sector. The country also has a large pool of scientists and engineers with the potential to steer the industry ahead to greater heights. Presently, over 80% of the antiretroviral drugs used globally to combat AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) are supplied by Indian pharmaceutical firms.
To support the growing Pharmaceutical industry, it is our duty to prepare students well. Pharmacy diploma holders and graduates are in big demand for opening of medical shops, Pharma marketing, Pharma industries, hospitals and research and development activities. Indian hospitals are now competing with the global ones and creating large avenues for Pharmacists. The Pharmaceutical industry being the largest in the world is providing a variety of job opportunities. Hence, a jobless is almost not found today.
Our institute, though very young, is having energetic and highly dedicated staff members and many of us are highly qualified. We take utmost care of our students. Regular classes, well equipped laboratories and library, transportation facility, hostel facility, are a few of our strengths.To expose the students to the demands of the industry and health care needs, guest lectures by eminent personalities are being arranged. Visit to industries, herbal gardens, exposing the students to entrepreneurship development and creating interest in research and development activities are also planned.
